It's been a little quiet lately hasn't it? All I'm going to say is I wish my mom was still alive. She wouldn't believe how much her little boy who used to be fascinated with power poles and spent hours building things in the sandbox and in barns would be in the news this past November......
With it getting dark and cold with the drizzly day, I have a little time to post some of the gobs of stuff I've been meaning to share. Back in 1950 Kansas City prepared a City Manager's Centennial Report. Rather than digesting it and parsing the interesting parts, I took some screen shots of the report and will just post them for you to read. Tonight, you can read the cover and preamble with the City Administration section. They give a glimpse into what Kansas City was like in 1950 and have some neat old pictures. You'll note I started adding watermarks because I don't mind people taking things to share but I do mind it when there isn't credit given. It's kind of a respect thing and also a way to thank whoever took the time to archive something.
