The kids are starting to take music lessons. Mrs. Loudmouth might try to teach one of them how to play guitar. However, the guitar we have is full of busted strings from the poopy children playing with it in the basement over time.
I plan of learning how to fix everything that goes wrong in 2014. No more money for Mr. Repairman. With the internet, someone someplace somewhere has written or vlogged about how to fix the issue.
Besides, when you call a repair person out of the phone book-wait, how 1980's. Try that again. When you do an internet search, you wind up with who knows what and have to discern if the person you are calling knows that they are doing and aren't going to rip you off.
If I can electrical wire the house, change a toilet, switch out PC parts, and change the oil/filter in the cars, I'm sure I can figure out how to re-string a guitar.
Besides, you never know if guys like this will show up at the house in a beat up old white van...
