There are only three reasons why a sane Platte Countian would ever use the Missouri Route 152/I-35 interchange to get into Liberty. One, Tuesday nights at Kid's Eat Free night at Chick-Fil-A™. Two, when a Butterburger™ is calling your name at Culver's™. Three, when you want to eat real pizza.
I call it pure divine intervention. God Almighty knew that back in 1998 my wife and I would move to Platte County so He led Jason Ransom to open The Dish™ in Liberty in 1997.
The only thing I ever miss about Chicago is real deep dish pizza and these guys are the only ones in town who know how to make it.
The thin crust pizza buffet is a great deal also. They also have a "Mongolian grill" style pasta bar where you can make any type of pasta with all sorts of meats/veggies/pastas/sauces.
If you are looking for a lunch buffet, don't overpay for the corporate chain with the western barn theme along 152. Keep going through the gazillion other stoplights until you get there. Directions can be found here.
So avoid the Pizza Ranch™ in Liberty because you could do so much better at The Dish™.
