I did a little snooping tonight seeing if I could find any more information out about the Boat at Tiffany Springs.
Here is the building along Polo Drive with "The Reef" on the facade.
With Platte County's history of growing weed, I wonder if "The Reef" has some symbolism???
I wandered around for a close up of the boat.
I think it's funny that the owner put up silt fence to keep the pile of dirt from eroding away. Wouldn't want to pollute the environment.
The boat isn't going to be there long. It's right smack inside MoDOT interstate right of way. The owner has the trailer and can take it up to Smithville Lake or dump it in the Missouri River and let it float away.
In summary, I didn't conclude anything other than the dude bought it off the internet dirt cheap or or found it driving back from the Lake or the Gulf. The boat looked like it could be made fishing ready. Just be careful what you catch...

The Reef is a Gourmet Restaurant in the works. The interior is done completely in Coral Reef shells and looks a lot like Atlantis. I'm not sure of the open date as the owner has been working on it for a long time.
