Long time readers may know that I have a hate/love/hate/love relationships with Sam's Club™. I tried going other places but never found salmon burgers, chicken burgers, and other semi-healthy different products nor could beat the price on milk and diapers which is a large expense in the Loudmouth family.
With that being said, the Platte County Sam's Club will be coming soon. After months of continual extending of due diligence, Sam's Club has closed on the property on the SWC of Old Tiffany Springs Road and Ambassador. With this closure, I have heard that even one of the restaurant pad sites is under contract but won't disclose the details.
The store has a corner entrance facing the intersection of Skyview and Ambassador near Route 152. On the site plan below, Old Tiffany Springs Road is at the top, Ambassador is at the right/east, and Skyview is on the bottom/south. The gas station will be right at the NWC of Ambassador and Skyview.
The front of the store will look like this according to renderings. The entrance is facing southeast towards the stop light at Ambassador and Skyview.
Here are the elevations. Front is south (Skyview), rear is north (Old Tiffany Springs Road), right side is east (Ambassador), left side is west (Skyview).
Below is a key map showing what the store will look like from different vantage points.
The store will open after the Flintlock store and I don't know the tentative date because they still have to get plans and obtain permits. It remains to be seen what type of funding the store will generate for the KCI Corridor TIF plan to continue improving the streets in the area.
Once it does open, just make sure you watch where you are going in the parking lot.

Died when Costco came into the market unfortunately. Sams owns the ground so its a matter of them being motivated enough to sell it.
