When I was on Park Hill's website looking for data about the Kansas City Missouri School District (KCMO School District), I noticed that the Park Hill School District has upgraded their boundary mapping. A patron no longer has to download a PDF and zoom into their neighborhood.
The district is using a GIS based system. All one needs to do is go here and type in your address.
The mapping software has a layer where one can turn on the elementary, middle, and high schools.
It's really easy to use and takes a lot of thinking out of where ones kids go to school or if someone is looking to buy a house in Platte County in the Park Hill School District. The Platte County School District isn't as complex since they don't have as many schools but one can find their district map here.
