Everyone Loves the "Green Park"

I asked the kids what park they wanted to go to tonight and the four year old yelled "the green park with the twisty things."

The green park is officially known as Renner Brenner Park and is tucked away west of US 69 in Riverside and south of Vivion Road right across the street from City Hall.

Besides having a kick butt playground it also has a skateboard/bmx bike facility and picnic shelter. The large walnut trees shade a lot of the playground outside of the middle of the day.

Soon it will become another great trailhead for the Line Creek Trail equipped with ample parking, restrooms, and a drinking fountain. Until then it is a hit with kids of all ages.
