Worst April Fool's Day EVER. In 1989, the Flying Illini's Nick Anderson forgot to box out and Michigan's Carl Higgins hit a put back with a second left propelling the Wolverines to the 1989 championship. Kids, BOX OUT.
The massive fail starts at about 5 minutes. Looking back on these two teams, either of these two teams would have beaten this years tourney winner by 30 points. This was before one and dones and these teams both had played together for the previous two years leading up to this epic battle in Seattle.
