Are coming Monday. Tomorrow is Easter. It's very simple. There is a Creator God. One time I used an analogy with my older kids about the origins of the universe in the sand box. Imagine that you sat in the sand box and started throwing up sand in the air. After a million or so tries, some of the sand pieces would eventually fuse together and a small little planet with its own gravity would form and the energy of the sand particles would create a light source and you would have a solar system. Eventually something would create a life form on your sand planet and a smart animal species would form and create things like computers, smart phones, firecrackers and lighters to light farts on fire.
That's how the big bang theory is simply explained according to me. I know some of you don't share that world view but we are all here on this large piece of sand and entitled to our own opinions. I just know that to me, to believe in a Creator makes more sense than believing in miniscule probabilities and I don't mean to say that in a hateful/condescending way but in a way to think about how/why we exist. I love all of you (even those of you that don't wash your hands after using the restroom) and enjoyed all of you I have met the past year with this little hobby.
If you don't have plans or ever wondered what the big deal about Easter is to so many people, I invite you to attend a church service at Antioch Bible Baptist in Gladstone tomorrow. Services are at 8, 9:30, 11, and 5.
If you are a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, please remember to show that love to others tomorrow. There is no need to be short because you had to wait 2 hours to eat at Ginger Sue's or Stroud's or be angry about anything given the blessings and joy we have.
