If you ever have to go to Staley High School you know how out of the way it is to get there.
Well at least it will be till this fall. The Shoal Creek TIF district is using some of the sales taxes generated by the 152/Flintlock commercial area to extend 108th Street west of I-435.
Combined with improvements under construction east of I-435, this will be a new continuous east-west corridor north of MO-152 which will actually look like a city street for residents in western Clay County to get around easier without taking rickety old routes like Staley Road.
The picture below is looking east towards I-435 and MO-291 and was taken right above Staley High School.
